bonz One of my frustrations in life is to have a farm of my own. It doesn’t have to be big, at least it can make profits.
When I learned that hubby’s mom has a piece of land in the province, I wanted to take a look. They said that there are tenants taking care of the land but there are issues that they are not giving the respective profit share to my MIL. Sometimes, I asked hubby what does their farm needs, and why don’t they just take over and manage their land all by themselves.
Hubby answered me that their farm is not ‘that’ big farm, it needs a lot of farm equipment such as milling machine to flourish, which can be very expensive. The answer on why don’t they manage it. I got the simplest answer. They can’t stand the rural life. The life in the city is very different as to the life in the province in our country.
They have other farms, which are not really managed by any immediate family, from his father side too. I have, even a small piece of land, I would make it profitable even though I don’t have that green thumb.
